This was a first proper attempt to create a finalized painting. I utilized a 14 line armature for the initial sketch and used a random figure model. Originally I planned this to be a picture from a palace with a guard waiting by a balcony entrance, but when I drew the curtains, they looked more like tree branches and I decided to go somewhere completely else.
